There is a threefold purpose to this subject: 1) To provide the student with a comprehensive knowledge of the major doctrines of the Bible; 2) The student is then encouraged to see that when these truths are understood in the mind and embraced in the heart, they have the power to transform lives; 3) Students will then be taught to articulate these truths through public communication channels, such as preaching, teaching and witnessing etc.
